My
fascination for vintage and retro aesthetics inspired me to do this
13-second collage animation. I wanted to create something with a Silent Film
feel, and I’m so glad this turned out better than I imagined. I made
sure to capture the stop motion technique by lowering the framerate of
my composition.
Initially, I wanted some pop of colors but I’ve decided to stick with the sepia tone and white paper outlines. The man holding the umbrella is giving serious Charlie Chaplin vibes and I’m loving it.
Anyway,
I was planning to rest the whole weekend since I have no break from
creating a lot of design templates but instead, I spent my time
experimenting with Photoshop and After Effects. Perhaps I just really missed creating a passion project.
Grind mode non-stop will start tomorrow now that I finished all the necessary stuff on my list. Need to earn a lot of moolah so I might just end up like Gin-chan, accepting odd jobs on the side apart from my main gig for that extra bucks. I hope I will not “fly away” to the afterlife due to fatigue and no sleep.
So yeah, yours truly will surely go semi-active again for a while. Might take a while for me to post another personal artwork unless it’s commissioned.
